Eloy Tarcisio

Eloy Tarcisio is a Mexican visual artist whose practice moves between painting, drawing, sculpture, engraving, installation, performance and experimental media, with a persistent relationship to Mexican materials and cultural memory.
He studied at La Esmeralda and co-founded the Centro de Investigación y Experimentación Plástica of INBA. Since the 1970s he has developed an extensive exhibition, teaching and cultural-promotion career, including the creation and direction of alternative-art initiatives. The Terres Sud archive preserves a substantial group of his works and installation views.
